Moe Engine Reconditioning

We originally started a transaction with an EBay seller called 'zop454' for an Ultimate Holden 202 engine on 18 January 2016. We found out later that the seller was MOE Engines. We were told that the engine was machined and and just needed to be assembled which we were told wouldn't take long. Fast forward nine months and around 60 phone calls later we received an engine without some of the paid for ancillaries. Add another three months to receive all the ancillaries that were ordered and paid for making a total of 12 months from start to finish for the whole process. Positive: The engine itself is fantastic. It runs really well and is pretty quick. Negatives were regarding the ability to contact the business and get an update on the progress of the engine and the speed of the whole build. If we had have been told the build would have taken 12 months to complete we may not have gone through with the whole process. Conclusion: great engine, just be prepared to wait... A long time!
